I am not sure, cherie, other than that, perhaps, they must be of a correct type, etc, to be transported so as not to be explosive, fire hazards...kind of makes you nervous, though!
oh wow! i thought of it that way, but i wanted to hear others' opinions. too! thank you, ms. carmen!
What does it mean? Gas bottles? If it's drinking bottles, it would mean they will be keeping an eye on drinking drivers.
i don't know, sweetie. it is very strange, and somewhat alarming to me.
a gas bottle?.. hhmm?.. may be its a bottle that has gas in it so you'll have an extra gas available in case you run out of gas in the middle of nowhere with no gas station.. haha.. LOL.. duh, that sign makes me dumb..
Hey Cherie, I am from Virginia, and I have never seen a sign like that in my life! LOL..It must be something pertaining to flammable items you might be carrying in your vehicle...I cannot imagine anything else it could mean? Like RNSANE said, hazardous material, or something to that effect? If you happen to find out...let us know, ok!
I come too early, there are no clues from the comment column yet.I am very eager to know as well.
I've not seen this sign before, and I don't know what that means either!Cherie, I can't comment on the previous post..but I think man is biggest baby of all time when they are sick..Yes, there are drama, but they're cute drama :-)
"Gas bottles", well I guess that would be bottles made of gas, but how can you inspect them when a gas is typically colorless and therefore not visible? Sheesh!;-)thanks for playing!Tink *~*~*
If you have gasoline in a bottle, you are supposed to stop.....????? Duh... Wonder how they'd know??? haHugs,Betsy
I think they are talking about the gas bottles that are on RV's and other vehicles. Its like the kind you get filled for gas grills.Usually the signs are before tunnels, just want to make sure there are no leaks so it they are safe.
haha - too funny, cizrein!haha! i KNOW i saw that on the way to WV, i really, really know now. hmmm. isn't that something? anyway, i googled, and it says nitrogen. there may be other kinds.okay, rainy, i'm not much help. will google again later.hihi- too funny, Icykins!~~on the man turning baby, i probably got the corniest kind when God handed out baby-ness! ugh!they probably come in certain containers??? i'm with you on this - sheesh! thanks, tink!it had me thinking as well, ms. betsy. hahaha!!oh!!! well, that's good to know, ms. karen. whew!!I'M ON THE LOOK-OUT FOR MORE OF THESE THOUGHT-PROVOKING SIGNS, MY FRIENDS! SHARE SOME THAT YOU SEE, TOO, OKAY? LOVE YA, GUYS! BEAUTIFUL THURSDAY!
Actually those are pressurized propane or butane tanks, usually found on campers or mobile homes. Since they are pressurized and you are entering a military area, they might be used as a destructive device on bridges or tunnels.
i think for those who carry spare gas bottles or jugs with them. Might be subject for inspection for a safer drive.
i am really not sure if that's it but who knows? hehe
gas bottles?! that's a strange sign. well, if you're a terrorist carrying a bottle with toxic gas, would you stop for inspection? :P
I hope they didn't mean laughing gas which is orange? coz I don't mean to put it in a bottle. Hahahah...nice post cherie and thanks for supporting Tink on our meme.
