Many attest to God's Omnipresence in times of difficulty. I am one of them.
The following is culled from TheCatholicSpirit.com - Daily Scriptures. It is my Scripture reading for the day.
Sunday, Aug. 9
19th Sunday in ordinary time
1 Kings 19:4-8
Ephesians 4:30 - 5:2
John 6:41-51
"The angel of the Lord came back a second time, touched him, and ordered, 'Get up and eat, else the journey will be too long for you!'" - 1 Kings 19:7
Discouraged and weary, Elijah was near total despair when an encounter with a straightforward angel made it possible for him to continue on his journey. The story reminds us all of the importance of being honest as well as supportive with ourselves as well as those around us who lose heart. In times of difficulty, we need people who will not deny the pain of our predicament but encourage us to take advantage of the things that will sustain us.

Have a soulful, faithful Sunday, my friends, whatever you do today. Keep safe.
